Re-Entry Policy
Re-entry is allowed for those over 21 years old with a wristband. If you are under 21 plan accordingly as you will not be allowed to re-enter the venue after leaving an event by any means.
Do you anticipate needing to leave the venue partway through the show and return to it later? For example, might you need to leave to add more money to the meter where your car is parked?
On the other hand, perhaps you know you wouldn’t be able to resist buying some merchandise before the show even begins. Obviously, it could be annoying to have to keep hold of that merchandise until the end of the night! Wouldn’t it be nice if you could just choose to quickly transfer it all to your car?
In scenarios like these, you can take comfort from Red Flag’s generous re-entry policy. Basically, if you are over 21 years of age, you can leave and re-enter the same show – as long as you have the right wristband. The venue staff can provide you with this.
What if you are aged under 21? In that case, re-entering a Red Flag event after leaving it won’t be an option for you by any means. The onus would therefore be on you to plan accordingly. For example, what if you expect to buy some merch early but will be going to the show with someone aged above 21? You could ask them if they would be willing to take that merch with them on a mid-show trip back to the car.
Ticket Policies:
For the rules and policies for tickets from our recommended ticket marketplace, read the Red Flag Tickets information page.
Naturally, you want your entire time at Red Flag in St. Louis to go smoothly. You don’t want to find you’ve overlooked one important rule or another that holds you up while you are itching to just enjoy some music.
It would be good practice to research the venue’s rules and policies carefully before booking a ticket. That way, you will have a good idea of any hurdles you would likely need to jump just to see a show at Red Flag. Here are several examples of especially significant potential speed bumps…
Age restrictions
Red Flag is an all-ages venue, but any patrons aged 21 or under will be liable to pay a $3 minor surcharge at the door.
When you look at Red Flag’s schedule of upcoming events, you could see many of them listed as suitable for all ages. Others might come with age restrictions though.
When you arrive for an event where age restrictions do apply, you will be asked to show a hard copy of identification proving your age. However, Red Flag staff remain selective about which hard copy forms of ID they accept. You should be on safe ground if you present either a:
- » Valid, United States-issued photo ID, or
- » Valid photo passport.
Under no circumstances will Red Flag accept the following forms of ID:
- » School ID
- » Firearm or conceal-and-carry ID
- » Photocopied ID
- » Temporary driving permit
Have you used your phone to take a photo of the ID? It won’t suffice for you to simply show Red Flag staff this photo on the phone. Instead, bring the actual hard copy of the ID with you to the venue.
Outside beverages
Red Flag pledges that if you are caught with an outside beverage in the venue, you will be immediately ejected – and ineligible for a refund.
Smoking policy
Red Flag bans both smoking and vaping in the venue. If you do want to smoke, look for the smoking poles positioned 15 feet from each door outside. These poles indicate where you can smoke without being reprimanded by Red Flag staff.
Stage diving and crowd surfing
The official policy is that if you engage in either activity at Red Flag, you will be immediately ejected from the venue.
